ESC news for National Cardiac Societies

2024-06-03

We eagerly anticipate your participation in ESC Congress this August! Your presence, as a valued member of the ESC family, will make this memorable occasion even more special.

Please save the dates for our next meetings taking place in London:

  • ESC Dinner: Friday, 30 August
  • National Cardiac Society Presidents' meeting: Sunday, 1 September
  • NCS Permanent Staff Debrief meeting: Monday, 2 September

As privileged ESC Members, you benefit from free registration to the congress. The registration vouchers for NCS Presidents and General Secretaries are available in your designated section on Box, along with the registration vouchers for your young cardiologists. Please start to distribute them, if you have not already done so.

We continue to focus on the need for national cardiovascular health plans and resources to improve cardiovascular health in all countries. We welcome the recent announcement of Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides on the need for a focus on cardiovascular disease in the next European Commission. We will continue to push for public health support across all ESC member countries to combat cardiovascular disease – the world’s number one killer.

With our best wishes,

Christophe Leclercq, FESC

Massimo Piepoli, FESC

Stephan Windecker, FESC
